Zombie Zombie! Amazing stop motion..

picture-1This amazing music video for a french duo called Zombie Zombie’s song ‘Driving this road until death sets you free’ is a massive stop-motion animated short film all done with GI Joe action figures, and by the looks of things a shedload of meticulous hard work.

The Zombie duo, Etienne Jaumet and Cosmic Neman, commissioned directors Simon Gesrel and Xavier Ehretsmann to create this fantastic piece of work, and the two directors have since gone on to make further music videos in this style, which i’ll post up as soon as i’ve found a decent copy. In the mean time, sit back and enjoy this amazing homage to John Carpenter’s The Thing and the various Romero zombie movies.. ace.

The Best Guitar Ever?

Massive props to Darryl for finding this one during far too many click throughs on forums.. Potentially the most awesomest guitar ever conceived of in a number of ludicrous ways – its an ESP custom shop job as you might expect, but this time they went all out!

Taken from the bmusic.com.au blog where we found this – “It was custom made for the Alfee’s guitar player Takamizawa. This is an awesome one of a kind guitar. The Alfee is one of the biggest rock acts in Japan and Takamizawa is well known for his Angel and other Gothic themed guitars”.

New Unity 3D site launched

learn-unity-3d_1238514065801Hi all! I’ve been away from blogging for a long time, but i’ve been busy writing a book and creating two other sites, relating to a lot of work i’ve been doing in game engine software Unity.

Take a look at both LearnUnity3D.com and LearnMeSilly.com, two tutorial sites i’m hoping will help people learn. The former is more of a general resources site relating specifically to Unity and game development in general, whilst the latter is a general learning resource site with all sorts of different packages to learn in video tutorial format.
